Mechanical Fitter

Role Overview Our network of regional workshops supports our clients to maximise the efficiency, productivity and safety of their operations.

Responsibilities As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out installations, maintenance, and repairs on a range of mechanical equipment including pumps, gear boxes, crushers, grinding mills, feeders, conveyors, and other fixed plant generally found in the mining industry.
Conduct site visits as and when required to gather relevant background information, inspection, and discuss technical and operating issues with client's personnel.
You will also drive the maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace and ensure that all work is in accordance with industry best practices.
Skills and Experience Trade Certificate as a Fixed Plant Fitter At least 2 years experience in heavy industry with a background in mining preferred Able to read mechanical and structural drawings Extensive construction, repair, and maintenance experience Practical communication, leadership, and team-building abilities Relevant computer literacy Ability to work in remote locations Current WA drivers' license.
A HR License would be advantageous, although not essential Thank you for considering CPC Engineering.
