Mechanical Fitter

Experienced Mechanical / Hydraulic Fitter required in a Mackay Workshop. ASAP Start. Your new role Your new role will see you completing the following duties: Commissioning of new equipment and projects Workshop-based service and repairs Working with clutches, brakes, precision couplings, gear drives etc Prioritizing workloads / incoming jobs Reporting This opportunity will require you to complete workshop-based services and repairs on mining, wind, metals and heavy industrial equipment. What you'll need to succeed You will possess the following attributes/qualifications: Trade Qualification – Fitter Current drivers licence Relevant previous experience High Risk Forklift Ticket (highly regarded) First Aid Certificate (highly regarded) Ability to work autonomously You may be required to complete a Pre-Employment Medical along with a D&A Test if successful for this position.
