The Role As a Mechanical Fitter at NEPEAN Conveyors, you will:
Supervise a team of Mechanical Fitters, apprentices, and other tradespeople. Oversee the quality and timeliness of work. Provide technical advice and support. Assist with hands-on work as needed. Mentor and guide your team to ensure high standards in a dynamic workshop environment. Key Requirements Trade qualification in Fitting. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role. Conveyor or maintenance experience is advantageous but not essential. Strong self-motivation and problem-solving skills. Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in reading technical drawings and spreadsheets. Ability to manage and supervise a team of 20+ employees. High-spirited and energetic approach.
