Category 5 Labour Management is a leading provider of Rail, Marine, Industrial Services and Trades personnel throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Our client is a major mining company who is one of the largest producers and exporters of Iron Ore in the world. Their Iron Ore division in WA has four processing hubs, five mines and two port facilities.
About the role The role is working in an autonomous workshop maintaining fixed Plant. This will be on a 2/2 roster, 1 week days, 1 week nights, working 12-hour shifts. The role will see the successful candidate working within a diverse and productive team and presents fantastic new opportunities.
Skills & experience Mechanical trade certification (essential) Automation processing experience Forklift, Dogging and / or Rigging tickets (highly desirable) Understanding of BHP computer systems, including 1SAP / Fiori (desirable) Previous experience working within Rolling Stock Maintenance (desirable) Understanding of BHP Operating System (BOS) Highly motivated and proactive approach to problem solving Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders Duties may include, but are not limited to: An overriding commitment to health, safety and environment, and sustainable development Ensure conformance with the BHP Charter, the BHP Code of Conduct, and relevant statutory obligations Ability to prioritise work, manage time effectively and liaise with external workgroups where required Completing all required documentation, data entry and reports in the relevant BHP system Benefits Attractive hourly rate Weekly pays Accommodation/Flights included for FIFO from Perth Experience with a respected global employer With our commitment to achieving a diverse workforce, we strongly encourage Female, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.
