About us Image Resources is a growing mineral sands producer with an enviable portfolio of operational and development projects. Image Resources operated a highly successful mine and processing facility at its Boonanarring mineral sands project and has recently received approvals to commence works at its new Atlas Project which is located 180km north of Perth in Western Australia.
The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for Mechanical Fitters to join the new Atlas Mine Site team. The positions report to the Maintenance Superintendent and are part of a small maintenance team responsible for the preventative maintenance program, breakdowns and shutdown task coordination.
You will be responsible for: Carrying out maintenance tasks in the fixed plant areaEnsuring the reliability and integrity of plant and equipment in line with the preventative maintenance programMaintaining conveyor systems, pumps, pipe work, vibrating screens & feeders, cranes & hoists, cyclones and all associated tanks, launders and steelworkWelding, fabrication, painting, grinding and fittingCarry out installation of new equipment or modifications to existing equipmentEnsuring that all activities are carried out through cross-functional collaboration and teamworkAbout you To be successful in this role, you will have:
