About the role Destec is presently looking for skilled Mechanical Fitters to become valuable members of operational teams. The teams are focused on maintaining fixed plant crushing, screening, and associated machinery and equipment at a Tier One mine site located in the Pilbara.
Salary: $179 200 per annum full time + superannuation on all hours.
To be successful in this role you will require the following: Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter qualifications Working at Heights Permit or willing to obtain Confined Space Entry Permit or willing to obtain Gas Test Atmospheres Permit or willing to obtain Experience with crushing and screening plants Knowledge of fixed plant components, such as crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps and chutes, etc. Current driver's license

We are looking for experienced Maintenance Fitters, Metal Machinists and Electricians for morning and afternoon shifts. While we are looking for experienced Fitters, Metal Machinists and Electricians.You will be responsible for the daily maintenance functions for the processing plant. Your day-to-day activities will include but not limited to machine fault finding, to ensure challenging production targets are met, equipment optimization and involvement in an ongoing preventative maintenance and general trouble shooting duties.This is a challenging but rewarding role for the right person who wants to be part of a great team delivering a proactive maintenance program.Experience and skills required for this role:A strong level of mechanical aptitude and experience with conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics and welding/Fabrication skills preferably in the food processing industry or similar.Resolution of operational or technical equipment problems, to minimize processing interruptions resulting from equipment breakdowns and/or failures.Willing to work overtime if required to complete a task.Ability to work alone or as part of a team.An excellent problem solver and have good analytical skills.Maintaining clean work areas to ensure hygiene needs of site are met.Ensuring you and your team are working in a safe environment.RemunerationThis is subject to your skills, qualifications and experience:Entry level: $60,000 to $80,000 per annum + superannuation.Industry skilled level: $80,000 to $100,000 per annum + superannuation.If this sounds like an opportunity that interests, you.
