Job DescriptionEilbeck Cranes is a 100% Australian owned company operating in Australia for 117 years specializing in the design, manufacture and installation of all types of overhead cranes, hoists and winches. Due to ongoing business growth, we are seeking to employ a Mechanical Fitter to join our Karratha, Western Australia team.
The Role & Responsibilities:Maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment.Perform repair work to cranes, installations of cranes, hoists and materials handling equipment.Fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and sub-assemblies to produce machines and equipment.Checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments.Qualifications:Mechanical TradePrevious experience within the Crane industryAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to manage multiple tasksEffective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilityMust be well organized and show effective time management skillsMust have a current manual Driver's LicenseMust be safety conscious and promote a safe environmentMust be available to work overtime and travel to remote sites when requiredSound Mechanical aptitudeIf you are looking for a rewarding, genuine career development opportunity in a supportive environment, please submit your application including an up-to-date resume.
