The PositionAn opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Mechanical Fitter to join this dynamic organisation. The successful applicant must be a self-starter, motivated, have strong problem-solving skills as well as a high regard for health and safety. They must also possess good communication, organisational, and teamwork skills. Applicants may be required to take part in abilities testing as part of the recruitment process.
Minimum RequirementsThe person we are seeking must possess the following:
Physically fit and able to work in all areas of the mill.Ability to carry out shift work.Proven safety record.Car, High risk, Elevated work platform, Fork truck, Mobile tractor crane licenses.Being computer literate to understand computerised Maintenance Management Systems.Previous experience in heavy industry.Experience with auxiliary equipment.Wages and conditions will be in accordance with the Opal Maryvale Mill Electrical & Plumbing Enterprise Agreement and will depend on the successful applicant's skills and qualifications.
