They manage the entire process, from sourcing local barley to producing and distributing high-quality malt for beverage production.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Mechanical Maintenance & Installation:Install, test, and commission equipment such as ducting, pipework, conveyors, and elevators.Provide timely response to mechanical breakdowns to ensure continuous plant operation.Perform preventative maintenance activities as per schedule.Collaboration:Work closely with the production team, providing technical assistance when required.Liaise with external contractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols.Participate in maintenance projects and contribute to troubleshooting efforts.Compliance & Safety:Ensure conformance to all relevant company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.Actively participate in maintaining certifications like ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, HACCP, and FSSC22000.Uphold health and safety standards as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 & Environment Protection Act 2017.Administrative Support:Complete paperwork associated with installations and maintenance work.Assist in project work and other corrective action initiatives as required.The Successful ApplicantQualifications & Experience:Required:Trade Certificate in Fitting & Turning.Solid experience in a similar trade role.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage projects.Technical fault-finding abilities with attention to detail.Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CMMS systems.Preferred:EWP (Elevated Work Platform) certification.What's on OfferThe candidate for the Mechanical Fitter position is offered the opportunity to work as part of a cohesive maintenance team, focusing on mechanical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth plant operations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
