About the Role Due to our sustained growth, we have a requirement for an experienced Mechanical Fitter, based in our Devonport branch who is willing to partake in workshop and field-based work.
We're looking for a Technician who will be responsible for complete hydraulic systems and all affiliated components including but not limited to: PumpsMotorsValvingCylindersCompleting lubrication and fire suppression installationsThis is an integral role to the business.
Day-to-day in the role, you will: Troubleshoot and identify issues whilst in the fieldComplete administration of job records accurately and efficientlyEnsure that work is carried out to the highest quality levelEnsure that customer service levels are of the highest standardEnsure continuous improvement to service levels and look for better ways to do thingsAbout you To succeed in this role, you will have a disciplined and mature work ethic, as well as the ability to work unsupervised.
Similar roles in the past may include drill rig fitter, heavy mobile diesel mechanic, auto-electrician, or fitter machinist.
Training in Cert 3 Mobile Technology is preferred.
