As a maintenance Plant Fitter, you will be reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor's, whilst working towards business objectives and strategies to achieve KPI's.
What we are looking for: Demonstrated experience within a mechanical fitting role – mining experience is highly desirableSomeone who has a strong safety focus and has worked to strict safety protocolsAbility to fix and maintain fixed plant mechanical equipment to minimise production downtimeExecute daily maintenance tasks as directed by the daily maintenance scheduleDiagnose and fix equipment faults at the direction of appropriate supervisorsHigh attention to detail with safety at the forefront of the workAdhering to high standards of housekeeping within the workshop and the job siteWhat you will need: Demonstrated experience in installation and maintenance on fixed plantAbility to work within highly regulated safety environmentTrade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or similarAbility to work within a team environment and autonomouslyCurrent Working at Heights, EWP, Confined Space tickets, Forklift, Dogman ticketsCurrent non-slew crane ticket (Highly desired)Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including X-Ray and Drug & Alcohol testAt MRM, we support the Northern Territory first, and Territorian applicants or those prepared to relocate.
