From operations and maintenance to asset management and fuel supply services, our team's expertise ensures we deliver effectively and sustainably.As a result of expanding scope of works within UGL's portfolio, we are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our Operations & Maintenance team at the Darwin RAAF Base in NT.This would be an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.Benefit from the opportunity to work with a Tier 1 services provider in a long-term, operations and maintenance contract.The RoleReporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be based in Darwin, supporting surrounding locations with occasional regional travel. You will be a part of a core crew of UGL technicians. These duties will include, but are not limited to:Perform scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipmentDiagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipmentProject work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipmentSupport subcontracted work packages as requiredSupport various sites in the region, with occasional requirement to travel to various sites throughout NTNew Rates as of 1st July 2024Maintenance Trades (Mechanical)Level 1 - $45.57 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($35.27 Weekly)Level 2 - $49.05 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($35.27 Weekly)Level 3 (Dual Trade) - $52.55 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($35.27 Weekly)What You NeedYou will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer. We expect the successful applicants to have the following:Trade qualified (mechanical) with relevant post-trade experienceProven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas.Experience working within the defence fuels network or defence industry will be highly regardedConfined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regardedSafety is at the forefront of everything you do!Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security ClearanceWhat We OfferThis is an opportunity to join UGL as a full-time employee, on a long-term contract within the Defence sector.
