About the role Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, the role will involve safely performing work to ensure the reliability & availability of the plant equipment. The primary purpose of this role is the day-to-day operations & maintenance of the underground fixed plant. Workers will be required to work in all sections of the plant always work in safe manner, with a high standard of workmanship. The role will also support periodic plant shutdowns as determined by the maintenance program. Key Responsibilities will include: Supporting - Asset Management Policy & Standards, Asset Management Plan, Work Management Process Ensuring good quality work is achieved to enable maintenance KPI targets to be met or exceeded Keeping accurate records of work required/done on all work orders Working with Supervisor/Planners to ensure CMMS data is kept up to date, eg BOM Lists, Stock Codes, Work Order Information Updating/creating red line drawings and communicate to Compliance via Supervisor, to ensure Drawings Management is up to date Gaining technical knowledge to apply potential asset/maintenance improvements Follow correct procedures for costing of all items and contributing to maintaining within existing budget Identifying risks/hazards and applying effective controls via use of PTRA's, JSEA's or formal Risk Assessments Carrying out regular assurance interactions and inspections Lifestyle friendly 8/6 (days) - 7/7 (nights) roster, FIFO from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville, DIDO from Mt Isa with a travel allowance or live residential in Cloncurry and receive a local living allowance Eligible for a quarterly safe production bonus Company share ownership plan, complimentary life insurance and income protection and future opportunities to work interstate or overseas About you To be considered for this role you must have excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills. We are looking for people who have most or ideally all the following skills and experience: Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade. Experience in fixed plant maintenance in a mining environment Delivering Results and Meeting Expectations Contributing to Team Success Effective Communication skills both verbal and written Ability to work safely always Ability to priorities and complete planned and unplanned work Ability to work in a team or alone at times.
