Mechanical Fitter - 259618
UGL's Manufacturing & Maintenance site based in Townsville is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team. These roles will be offered on full time permanent basis working day shift 6:00am to 14:30pm Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager this role will see you working on Rollingstock conducting maintenance, overhaul and servicing and general workshop duties as required.
About You To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:
· Previous experience working within the rail industry
· Experience in assembly and maintaining of machinery
· Ability to read, interpret and understand plans, diagrams, drawings and specifications
· knowledge of manufacturing and component overhaul processes and practices
· Additional tickets such as Forklift, Crane and Confined Space would be beneficial but not essential
· High levels of attention to detail.
· The ability to work within a team and unsupervised.
