TheOpportunity Reportingto the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is for a trade qualifiedfitter with strong industry experience and a broad range ofmechanical fitting based in the country town of Harvey, WesternAustralia. Our Maintenance and reliability team ensures theavailability of plant and equipment to support theproduction/manufacturing function.

KeyResponsibilities Havea high regard for safe working methods. Regular machineryinspections and make adjustments or repairsaccordingly. Troubleshootingequipment related process problems and equipment failures todetermine cause and investigate for repairs. Drive ongoing andpreventative maintenance programs. Support Engineeringand Production personnel on continuous improvements Monitor equipment inorder to recommend process improvements. Supervise TA'sand contract staff in line with company standards. Manufacture, repairand fault-find hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. SelectionCriteria Mechanical TradeCertificate is Essential. Experience withHydraulic or pneumatics would be highly regarded. Exposure to food orFMCG processing systems, especially within the red meatIndustry is advantageous. Exposure to VacuumPackaging equipment desirable. Understanding of OHSpractices and compliance and confined spacerequirements. Beable to fabricate and weld would beadvantageous.
