Job DescriptionDue to growth in the business we are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our Project team for immediate start.
The project is based in Kurri Kurri which is 30 minutes from Newcastle. It's a compressor station working in the oil & gas sector. Successful candidates will need experience in the below:
Oil and GasFlange managementInstallation of valves and pipingRead and understand drawings to enable correct fitting of pipework & associated valves/instrumentation into oil & gas skidsComplete in depth inspection test reports, flange closure reportsClose tolerance and interface fittingWork under own initiative and as part of a teamQualificationsTrade Qualification in fitting or similar mechanical fieldPrevious experience in Oil & Gas Pipework & EquipmentExperience with hi-torque flange management torquing and tensioning process and proceduresHigh regard for working safely and environmentally responsibleAbility to work in an adaptable team and use own initiativePrepared to mobilise for site execution phase of the projectExperience with compressor install, shaft alignment and rotating equipment highly desirableAdditional InformationFurther details will be discussed with successful candidates at the interview stage.
