Job Description:Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative mechanical maintenance and repairs of the processing facilities and other areas of the operation as required to ensure operational targets are met in a safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient manner.
This role will be offered on a FIFO or DIDO 2/2 Roster based at our King of the Hills Operation.
Point of hire: PERTH, WA
Key responsibilities will include: Always act in a manner that seeks to enhance the safety culture & performance of Vault Minerals;Understand and comply with all operation specific quality procedures and statutory regulations;Assist in carrying out routine mechanical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of processing plant equipment, including but not limited to, Gyratory Crusher, conveyor belts, apron feeders, SAG Mill, screens, pumps, and agitators;Assist in improving equipment performance and reducing operational costs;Assist in other areas of the operation as required ensuring operational targets are met in a safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient manner;Key factors to your success include: Basic computer literacyC Class Drivers license (manual)Trade Certificate, Mechanical FitterHigh Risk Licenses - EWP, CN Crane, Rigging, Dogging, ForkliftWith an exciting future ahead, Vault Minerals is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a rewarding career in the mining industry.
