Work Schedule: 9-day fortnight, with every second Friday off
Shift Hours: Monday to Thursday 5:30am – 2:30pm, Fridays 5:30am – 1:30pm (on working Fridays)
The Opportunity
UGL's Manufacturing & Maintenance division in Broadmeadow is seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters with airbrake experience to join our Component Solutions team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the airbrake workshop, ensuring smooth production flow and assisting the broader team when needed.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily workshop activities and maintain operational efficiency.Track and manage the flow of parts, cores, and consumables.Delegate tasks to the trades team and ensure completion.Maintain a clean and organized workshop.Monitor and manage the calibration of all necessary equipment.Ensure all relevant quality documentation is up to date.Track production progress and weekly schedules.Provide technical support across the workshop as needed.Coordinate reactive maintenance on equipment when required.About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
