About the role: An exciting opportunity exists at our Rockhampton Processing Plant for a Maintenance Fitter. We are seeking a passionate and energetic individual who is committed to providing an effective professional service. This role is responsible for providing maintenance across the plant where required.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): To ensure maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance.Engage in making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines, instruments or appliances to ensure equipment and facilities are in optimum condition for their intended use.Ensure all mechanical work is carried out to meet the company safety and housekeeping requirements and conforms to all relevant regulations.Demonstrated ability to identify faults through the use of fault finding techniques with the ability to troubleshoot and rectify problems.Time management, task ownership and ability to work autonomously and in a team.Other responsibilities that may come up from time to time, such as working on projects.Job benefits (include but are not limited to): Lifestyle roster; providing a good work/family life balance working an eight-week rotating shift cycle. 4 days per week – alternating day shift and afternoon shift.Onsite training to be provided including any role specific training required.Further advancement of your skills working on a wide range of equipment.Additional allowances available, including; Attendance, Meat and Tool allowances.Health insurance discounts on Bupa Health and Medibank Private.About you: Able to demonstrate integrity and a professional work attitude.Highly developed time management and multi-tasking skills.Ability to work shift work including rotating roster, day and afternoon shift.What next?
