About the role
UGL's Engineering business is expecting significant growth in 2025 as we support major Rail and Tunnel Infrastructure Projects.
As a result, we have an Expression of Interest open for Mechanical Engineers.
The role of the Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design inputs to the mechanical design deliverables/packages on the project.
About You
Degree qualification to Bachelor status in Mechanical Engineering (IE Aust recognised).
At least 3 years' experience in hands-on mechanical design.
At least 3 years' experience in a design, procure & construct in a project environment.
Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines, and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
Experience working on a large rail or Infrastructure project.
