Job Description Traction Ag is a trusted Australian farm machinery dealership in the Wimmera Region.
With locations in Horsham and Nhill, the company serves all farming needs.
The company is currently looking to recruit experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technicians (Tractors) to join their team at their depot in Horsham VIC 3400.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
Pre-delivery of new tractorsAssembly of new attachmentsServicing and maintenance of tractors and farm equipmentAnalyse and assess performance graphs to ensure functionality and diagnosis is in accordance with manufacturing specificationsDismantle defective tractors and components for repairsReassemble tractors and components for repairsReassemble tractors and farming machines and equipment following repair, testing operations and make adjustmentsMaintain maintenance records and adhere to work procedures and workplace policiesSelecting correct tools and equipment for the assembling and installing of new modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine, tools and controls and hydraulic power systemsEnsuring works are within specifications and regulations including material costing's, quantities, machine requirements and timeframe.Skills and Abilities
Have a Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentMinimum of 3 years or relevant experience preferably with farming machinery and equipmentProfessional, confident and positive approach to workOH&S awarenessSalary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa plus superannuation commensurate with experience Fulltime Positions available Applications open 11th of November 2024 and closes on 11th December of 2024.
