Job Type: Permanent position | Full time positionJob DescriptionSCS Packaging are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team in Shepparton. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:Running and analysing diagnostic tests on a wide range of packaging systems and equipmentMaintain, test and repair/replace mechanical assemblies on the highest quality packaging equipmentPerform assessments and repairs in the production sector and workshopPerform preventative maintenanceSelecting tools and equipmentCollecting and analysing data, carrying out complex computations and preparing diagramsOrganising and supervising inspection and maintenance of packaging machinesEnsuring that designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations and contract provisionsSkills and Abilities:Ideally have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldA minimum of three years' experienceThe ability to work in a team environmentSalary range is $70,000-$85,000 per annum commensurate with experience.
