About Us: Pilecom Pty Ltd is a leading Solar Farm Construction company committed to providing innovative solutions and high-quality services. We are currently seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work alongside engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure efficient and high-quality implementation of mechanical systems for solar installations.
Key Responsibilities:Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems such as racking systems, inverters, and electrical enclosures.Ensure mechanical systems are installed according to project specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations.Perform regular inspections and maintenance of solar farm mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during installation and post-installation phases.Work with project teams to develop schedules and manage resources for mechanical installations.Assist with the ongoing maintenance and repair of solar farm systems to ensure maximum efficiency and minimise downtime.Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to source mechanical components and materials for projects.Maintain equipment, tools, and systems to ensure their optimal functioning.Skills and Qualifications:Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Demonstrated experience (2+ years) in mechanical engineering technical support, ideally in the renewable energy or solar industry.Knowledge of solar farm systems, including mechanical components.Strong knowledge of mechanical principles.Proficiency with CAD software and other engineering tools.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication skills.Desirable Attributes:Experience with advanced manufacturing techniques and technologies.Familiarity with industry-standard safety protocols.Certification in relevant engineering software or tools.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity for career development and progression.Supportive and collaborative team environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
