Mechanical Engineering Technician

Power Flo Hydraulics Australia PTY LTD are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team in Baringa QLD 4551 and Virginia, Brisbane, QLD 4014.

Successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
Assist Mechanical Engineer or Managing DirectorPrepare layouts and drawings of parts to be made and of the process for putting the parts together, often using three-dimensional design softwareReview instructions and blueprints for projects in order to ensure that test specifications and procedures are followed and objectives are metPlan, produce, and assemble new or changed mechanical parts for products, such as industrial machinery or equipmentSet up and conduct tests of complete units and their components, and record resultsCompare test results with design specifications and with test objectives and make recommendations for changes in products or in test methodsEstimate labor costs, equipment life, and plant space Skills and Abilities:
Ideally have a qualification in Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalentMinimum of 3 years' experience in relevant fieldAbility to work in a team environmentGood technical skillsTo enjoy practical, hands-on workGood oral and written communication skillsThe ability to read and interpret technical drawingsGood problem solving skillsAbility to analyze and evaluate data Salary range is $65,000-$80,000pa commensurate with experience.
