Job Type: Permanent position | Full time positionJob DescriptionOn-Trac AG provides farming machinery, light construction equipment, spare parts, and mechanical services across their three locations in Bathurst, Mudgee, and Robin Hill. Currently, they are recruiting for experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technicians to join their service department in Bathurst NSW 2795. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:Pre-delivery of new tractorsAssembly of new attachments and hydraulic systemsServicing and maintenance of tractors and farm equipmentAnalyse and assess performance graphs to ensure functionality and diagnosis is in accordance with manufacturing specificationsDismantle defective tractors and components for repairsReassemble tractors and farming machines and equipment following repair, testing operations and make adjustmentsMaintain maintenance records and adhere to work procedures and workplace policiesSelecting correct tools and equipment for the assembling and installing of new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine, tools, and controls and hydraulic power systemsEnsuring works are within specifications and regulations including material costing, quantities, machine requirements, and timeframe.Skills and Abilities:Ideally have a Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentMinimum of 3 years or relevant experience preferably with farming machinery and equipmentProfessional, confident, and positive approach to workOH&S awarenessSalary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience.
