Our Client is an internationally renowned organisation, involved in Design, Documentation and Manufacture of market leading equipment and maintenance to the mining and industrial ventilation industry throughout Australia, New Zealand and surrounding regions.
Presently they have a genuine permanent employment opportunity for a Mechanical Design Draftsperson , located in their Sydney Design headquarters in the Hills District in Sydney's Northwest.
The role involves:
3D and 2D modelling, design and documentation Modification of existing non-standard components and equipment, using Inventor and AutoCAD software packages Preparation of Bill of Materials for ordering, manufacturing and supply Naturally, you will also need to be very conversant with current standard Microsoft Office applications.
Required personal attributes include:
The ability to work independently Liaise with site installation teams Be self-directed where required High level communication skills and collaborative work style are essential. Of great advantage would be a manufacturing, fabrication or production background with exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems.
