Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is a consortium comprising of industry leading Tier 1 organisations – John Holland, Service Stream and WSP.
Sydney Water has partnered with D4C to deliver design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services across their southern region - from Bondi to Gerringong, and out to Georges River.D4C is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic, diverse and high performing team in an exciting time of growth.
We need your skills and expertise to help Sydney Water deliver a $34 billion dollar program over the next 10 years to build, maintain and protect the future of our iconic water resources.Primary PurposeThis role will be an integral part of the project team owning the outcome for the construction delivery of allocated projects, focusing on our Wollongong Treatment Plant, including the upgrade of mechanical, electrical, civil and process related assets.Key AccountabilitiesSupporting Construction Leads to ensure allocated projects are delivered to scope within time, cost, quality and regulatory standards.Setting daily, weekly and long-term project programs to achieve required project outputs with plant, labour, materials and resources.Monitoring and reviewing costs, invoices and claims for allocated projects.Contributing to the constructability of a project with respect to design development.Undertaking tender, evaluation, and award of subcontract procurement packages.Monitoring the quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material against drawings and specifications and arranging corrections/modifications as per Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).Analysing and using document and record management, progress and project performance reporting, and compliance reporting.Managing work and the performance of Subcontractors and the self-perform workforce to achieve outcomes.Liaising and coordinating with all external parties and relevant statutory authorities, managing attendance on site as required.Contributing to and fostering a good safety, quality, environment and a community culture with a view to deliver differently.EssentialBachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction, Construction Management or equivalent.Minimum 5-10 years' engineering experience.NSW Drivers Licence.White Card.We welcome and encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, LGBTQIA+, people with disability, people with caring responsibilities, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and veterans.What's next?If this sounds like you, click 'Apply' and send an up-to-date CV outlining your skills and experience.
