Location: Laverton North, VIC 3026
Tenure: Full-time, Permanent
Comprehensive salary package: from $73,150 pa (plus superannuation)
Required Skills and Experience:

Associates degree in mechanical engineering technology (MIT), or similar.
A minimum of two years' experience as a mechanical technician in a related industry.
Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Position Summary:
On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer Technician who has strong communication and time management skills, is self-motivated, and must have the ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.
This role will see you completing hands-on activities to fabricate, assemble, erect, test, maintain, and/or repair equipment and components in line with industry best practices, company standards, policies, and procedures. The position may also require skills in leading small teams or groups and the ability to train new members of the team. This is a full-time position which may involve weekend work and some unplanned hours of work where the need arises.
Other Required Skills:

Good written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge in computer programs/software is an advantage.
