Your future role:
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Site Train Design Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be performing the calculation discipline activities and producing associated deliverables in compliance with quality, delivery and cost commitments and applying Mechanical Domain instructions and processes.
We'll look to you for: Performing Detailed Design calculationPreparing and documenting Mechanical Domain Design Reviews and CalculationSuggesting design improvements of calculated partsApplying calculation and mechanical design rules, processes and tools and ensuring discipline calculation deliverables quality and their acceptance by the customer within committed limitsEvaluating CAD's and sub-contractors design qualityAll about you: Bachelor in Mechanical EngineeringGood Communications and interpersonal skillsProven experience in Mechanical Engineering applied to Railway products is preferredExperience in customer interaction is desirableAbility to adapt and excel in a fast-paced and evolving environmentThings you'll enjoy:
