Your new role As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Leading and managing mechanical engineering projects from conception through to completion. Producing accurate scopes, estimates, and designs for mechanical engineering projects. Working collaboratively with our team to deliver quality project outcomes that meet deadlines and client expectations. Providing mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development. Ensuring all projects are completed efficiently, on time, and in line with their standards for engineering excellence. Upholding the companies 'Points of Culture' and 'Rules of the Game', maintaining professionalism and a positive mindset. Regularly updating and communicating with your team, including daily updates and weekly reports. Accurately logging and submitting work hours and project updates to ensure seamless project tracking. Taking annual leave as needed to ensure you stay refreshed and perform at your best throughout the year. What you will bring - A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Solid experience in mechanical design and project management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming engineering challenges.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- A collaborative mindset, thriving in team environments where knowledge sharing and mutual support are key.
- The ability to work full-time in either Rockhampton or Emerald, QLD.
