The roleOverviewWe have an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, collaborative and innovative team within our state-of-the-art Cement & Lime facilities in Perth. The purpose of this role is to oversee the reliability and mechanical performance of the WA Cement assets. This role also has the important responsibility of providing support to the plant-based maintenance teams in order to deliver process and asset reliability improvements.ResponsibilitiesEnsure all safety, environmental and process incidents within areas of responsibility are reported, investigated in a timely fashion and identified corrective actions implemented to prevent re-occurrence.Develop & maintain work instructions, procedures, forms, policies, JHA's and HAZOP's relating to areas of responsibility.Promote a zero-injury environment.A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, both internally and externally.Develop asset reliability strategy and plans for the Cement related assets.Hands-on assistance to on-site maintenance teams and process managers to maximise asset reliability and performance by identifying and implementing improvements to practices and strategies.Develop and implement operational improvements and lead the change management process.Develop scopes for shutdown activities for all Cement operational assets.Provide technical leadership and monitor quality outcomes of these scopes.Work collaboratively with Procurement Department to choose and manage suppliers effectively to ensure appropriate service levels are achieved within the Cement operational areas.Lead by example, by encouraging a positive and safe working environment/culture.Maintain assets to enable them to operate at their operational sustainable limits.About youRelevant Tertiary qualifications, or a related discipline.A minimum of five (5) years reliability experience in manufacturing industry.Significant experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of large plant and equipment.Proven ability to lead and manage teams of trades people and contractors when required.Experience with project management.Experience with outage scope development and management.Demonstrated Project cost control.Competent in CBM & RCM, MS Office, MS Project and SAP.Our businessCockburn Cement is the leading Western Australian manufacturer of cement, lime, packaged cement and drymix products.
