No two days will look the same in this role.
One minute you could be refining a CAD design, and the next, you'll be out in the paddock testing a new product or chatting with the service team to see how your designs are holding up in the real world.
We're after someone with creativity and flair to take products to the next level.
No, we're not CAD-ing around here—Ha, see what we did there?
Now, let's get to the good stuff.
Based in Wagga, you'll be working within an agricultural manufacturing business and their mission is simple: build top-tier products, deliver unbeatable service and know-how, and give customers more value than they expect.
And this is where you come in.
You'll be leading the engineering charge, inspecting and measuring machinery and components to ensure a perfect fit.
Your designs will be key to streamlining fabrication and improving quality.
Plus, you'll constantly look for ways to boost efficiency and improve component performance.
Got new ideas?
They're all ears.
You'll be helping draft concepts for new products and working closely with the Managing Directors and Operations Manager to fully grasp the design and engineering needs.
We're after practical problem-solving skills, hands-on engineering experience, and a laid-back, easy-going nature.
You'll also have a say in strategic improvements for both new and existing gear, so having experience with heavy or agricultural mechanical engineering and CAD/3D drawings is essential.
This isn't a desk-bound role.
For the first 6 to 8 weeks, you'll be rolling up your sleeves on the workshop floor to really get a feel for how things run.
You'll be speaking with the team in the workshop, monitoring performance, and seeing products through from concept to commercial launch.
There's a new model line in the pipeline, and within your first six months, you'll be knee-deep in developing it—plenty to sink your teeth into from day one.
You'll also play a part in refreshing the parts manuals, working closely with the Ops Manager to get things right.
We're looking for someone who loves independence and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
You'll be practical, hands-on, and quick on your feet when decisions need to be made.
No egos here—just someone who's open to feedback and willing to roll with constructive criticism.
