Key Responsibilities: Studying Functional Statements and Project Information: Reviewing design specifications, project requirements, and organizational charts to define the roles and responsibilities of team members and identify any overlaps or inefficiencies in workflow.Establishing Work Measurement Programs: Developing and analysing work measurement programs and samples to create standards for efficient labor use in truss manufacturing and assembly.Analysing Workforce Utilization and Facility Layout: Examining workforce deployment, facility layouts, production schedules, and cost data to optimize the efficiency of both workers and equipment in truss production.Designing Mechanical Equipment and Systems: Designing machinery, equipment, and systems specifically for the manufacturing of trusses, including the components and tools needed for production.Developing Specifications and Determining Materials: Creating detailed specifications for truss manufacturing, including selecting appropriate materials, equipment, and planning material flows and facility layouts.Organizing and Managing Project Labor: Coordinating labor resources and managing the delivery of materials, equipment, and tools needed for truss production and installation.Establishing Standards for Installation and Quality Control: Setting standards and policies for the installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection, and maintenance of trusses, in line with engineering principles and safety regulations.Inspecting Production Facilities: Monitoring and inspecting production facilities to ensure that machinery and equipment are performing optimally and efficiently.Directing Maintenance and Coordination: Overseeing the maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facilities, and coordinating requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules to support continuous production.REQUIREMENTS: Relevant Bachelor-level degree or higher.At least 2 years of relevant work experience.Experience in mechanical design.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.Salary on offer is between $75,000 - $80,000 plus super per annum and is commensurate with qualifications.
