In this role you'll be a vital part of our Industrial Mechanical team in Perth who are bringing ideas to life by imagining and co-creating with our clients to create a better future for people and the planet. You will deliver technically excellent mechanical engineering designs and consultancy services and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver an exciting portfolio of materials handling and complex machines projects.
What are we looking for from you?
You'll have a genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning to help shape the future. As well as experience in a similar role, you can demonstrate:
Bachelor's degree or master's in mechanical engineering.
3-5 years' experience with a solid technical background and practical application experience in bulk materials handling and complex machine design in the resource sector.
Design experience across at least some of the following areas:
Car dumpers
Complex machines including reclaimers, stackers & shiploaders
Bulk materials handling equipment including conveyors & transfer chutes
Dust suppression systems
WA resources sector with iron ore experience
Sound knowledge and experience implementing relevant technical standards.
Proficiency with relevant mechanical design software (e.g. Helix, Belt Analyst, Inventor, ANSYS, Rocky).
A desire to continually grow your own career and technical development by staying abreast of industry best practice design methods, software, technologies and by adopting digital delivery, and innovation.
A desire to share knowledge, contribute, grow and develop in a team environment.
