About the role: We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer at our Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV).
Our Coppabella Moorvale mine complex consists of two open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometers southwest of Mackay that produce premium low-volatile PCI coal for export markets.
Reporting to the Maintenance Engineering & Planning Superintendent, the scope of your role will be to provide engineering and project management support to the maintenance team.
You will be responsible to provide specialist advice and execute tasks associated with ensuring a robust management of change and documentation management process is followed across the CMJV.
Duties will include: Develop, govern and control technical documentation from which the Operation is designed, constructed, operated and maintained (including engineering standards, specifications, procedures, control system programs and drawings) To integrate effective system for change management To maintain consistent management in the change management process to allow consistent decision making and communications To ensure all changes or modifications to systems, plant, processes, projects, materials, products are managed and documented Provide specialist advice and executes tasks associated with ensuring a robust change control and document management process exists and is followed in the Operation Facilitate risk assessments Monitor and improve site processes and standards for compliance with relevant legislation, and Australian standards Support and coordinate maintenance facilities and infrastructure projects, including initial scoping and capital expenditure applications Coordinate overhauls of components, including reviewing and approving designs and requirements for certification and fabrication, within budget and timeframes The lifestyle: This position is offered on a 9-day fortnight (Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.
Employees living residentially may have access to a $15,000 housing allowance and may have the ability to salary sacrifice up to 50% of rental payments.
