MACA Interquip Mintrex is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Design) to commence in our West Perth office.

The Mechanical Engineer (Design) works in the Engineering team to prepare technical documents and design mechanical items that adhere to the relevant Standards and Codes.
To gain knowledge and experience in all aspects of the MACA Interquip Mintrex operations and learn the MACA's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include: Design of items including structures, mechanical plant and pipework with safety, plant life cycle, economic factors, and relevant Standards and Codes in mind.Mechanical equipment research.Drafting of site layouts, mechanical and structural components, and other miscellaneous items.Provide technical information to aid with the preparation of Datasheets.Technical and engineering support for in-house and sub-contracting drafters.Work with project stakeholders to provide technical expertise and support.To be successful in this role, you will possess: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).Commitment to safety in the workplace.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and plan tasks.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High attention to details with the ability to think analytically and show initiative.Minimum three (3) years engineering experience, ideally in the mineral processing industry.Thorough understanding of fluid and solid mechanics.There are many long-term opportunities available across our business, and more on the horizon.
