Full time We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) design experience on building projects to work in our Adelaide office.
Our Adelaide office has a vibrant culture and holds regular exciting and interesting team activities/events.
We are looking for a candidate who wants to be involved in continuing the positive office culture.
The role is suitable for someone who can work independently on a wide range of projects and manage multiple workloads.
You will be expected to regularly attend client-facing meetings and industry events and possess good consulting skills.

We are currently working on a variety of projects, including data centres, healthcare, commercial, retail, defence, industrial, and educational buildings.
Our Adelaide office is centrally located in the CBD, close to public transport, cafes, and parks.
South Australia is home to some of the best wineries in the world, with beautiful beaches, forests, and mountain ranges all within 30 minutes from the CBD!
Day-to-day tasks would involve: Producing and developing HVAC Engineering designs, heat load calculations, equipment and reticulation sizing and selection, coordination, and documentation.Representing Stantec externally to clients, managing these relationships, and generating repeat business by focusing on client satisfaction.Providing clear direction to drafters and site contractors.Contributing positively to in-house design/project meetings.Adhering to Stantec professional standards, ethics, and quality procedures.To be successful in this role, you'll need: A Mechanical Engineering Degree.4+ years of mechanical (HVAC) consulting engineering experience in the Building Services industry.Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.Working knowledge of Revit and other software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.About Stantec The Stantec community unites approximately 31,000 employees working in over 450 locations across six continents.
