Mechanical & Electrical Excavator Maintenance Specialists
Stramig is seeking experienced Mechanical & Electrical Excavator Maintenance Specialists to join our team. This role will see you responsible for the maintenance and repair on heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency across mining operations throughout NSW, QLD and WA.What you'll be doingCarrying out scheduled maintenance and inspections on excavators and other mining equipmentTroubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and implementing effective repairsPerforming maintenance tasks such as servicing, rebuilding, and replacing componentsDocumenting maintenance activities and reporting on the condition of equipmentCollaborating with the wider maintenance team to identify and address equipment-related challengesAdhering to all relevant safety procedures and environmental regulationsWhat we're looking forHeavy Duty Diesel Mechanics, Auto Electricians, Boilermakers & Planners followed by Australian Recognised Relevant Trade CertificateOrder 43 or Coal Board Medical or willing to obtainCertificate of Proficiency or S11 or willing to obtainProven track record in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery, specialising in excavatorsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issuesExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate maintenance recordsKnowledge of relevant safety regulations and a demonstrated focus on workplace health and safetyEffective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environmentWhat we offerAt Stramig, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
