CYP Design & Construction Joint Venture (CYP D&C) has been contracted to design and build the tunnels and stations for the Metro Tunnel Project. CYP D&C brings together three of Australia's leading construction partners John Holland, Lendlease, and Bouygues Construction. The Metro Tunnel Project will untangle the City Loop by taking three of Melbourne's busiest train lines through a new tunnel under the city. It will create a new end-to-end train line from Sunbury to Cranbourne/Pakenham, with twin nine-kilometre tunnels and five new underground stations at Arden, Parkville, Anzac, and two new CBD stations - State Library and Town Hall - which will directly connect to the City Loop. We are currently recruiting for Mechanical and Electrical Engineers manage subcontractor final deliverables such as Asset Data, Operator & Maintainer Manuals, Specs, Data sheets, Test & Commissioning documents, Drawings, As-builts, Redlines, 3D models etc. The main responsibility will be to finalise and handover the final deliverables and all completion-related activities are performed efficiently and effectively within project timelines.Responsibilities of the role include: Collect and manage asset data from subcontractors and Project team. Read and interpret Design Drawings to ensure that all assets are captured in EACRs templates. Manage asset changes with the Asset Manager and Digital Engineering team Update completion activities in TeamBinder and address RPV/stakeholder comments Communicate with MTM regarding the submission of EACRs and respond to their comments Capture asset images in accordance with DOT Pass asset requirements and prepare image templates by adding Meta data and GIS coordinates for submission to DOT Pass asset. Collect Operations and Maintenance manual data from the subcontractors Management of subcontractor deliverables, chair weekly meetings, track progress and monitor their progress Management of T&C documentation (ITR, FTR, Test Reports) Asset management e.g., collection of asset data, GIS coordinates, photos etc. Finalise Asset Data from subcontractors "Ellipse Asset Change Request" asset templates and management of subcontractor asset inputs Management of asset images in accordance with DOT requirements and upload to PTV Pass asset Management and collection of all subcontractor documents Specs, Data sheets, Maintains plans, Training, Drawings, Shop drawings Change Management of design drawings and as-builts to ensure all asset information is submitted correctly. Manage the handover process at project completion, ensuring involvement of all key stakeholders and compliance with procedures for completing project documentation. Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and internal team members, to maintain effective communication and collaboration throughout the project. Perform all duties in accordance with CYP policies, processes, systems, reporting and procedures. To be successful in this key role, you must have: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Minimum 3-5 years post graduate engineering experience with 2+ years site based Experience on > $50 M Projects Experience with asset data collection, Operations and Maintenance, Drawings, Shop Drawings, As-builts, Redlines and Change management processes Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills CYP D&C companies are diverse, flexible and inclusive as employers of choice.
