The Self Service team mission is all about enabling customers to automate and self serve as much as possible, reducing the need for unnecessary form completion, and waiting in all centre lines. What will your day look likeThis role is in the LEX Loan App team. The collection of LEX services primarily support the Buy and Own a Home value stream and the Loan App service orchestrates the loan application workflow life cycle which is the backbone of the loan application journey in the ANZ Plus app. From concept to reality, our team of Engineers design, produce and deliver high impact, customer focused products and features in collaboration with Engineers, Architects, System Analysts and Quality Engineers. At a low level, engineers will be active in the following: API design Workflow design Coding of new features and improvement of code Automated testing of features Code deployment and feature activation Improving CI/CD pipelines Improving team processes What will you bring?To be successful in this role you will ideally be: Competent with functional or imperative programming languages -- e.g., Go, Java, Python or C (we primarily write our services in Go). Experienced with gRPC, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Cloud Functions and Cloud Run. Skilled in writing understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability. A strong communicator. Explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers is no problem for you. Across computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
