We seek two Senior Mechanical Design Engineers in Perth CBD. You will be engaged in various projects focused on sustaining capital-style engineering work for mine sites, offering a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities.

The responsibilities Engage in mineral processing plant and bulk material handling projects. Provide expertise in minerals processing, pumping, and piping. Develop and manage materials handling conveyor systems. Oversee multiple areas of the supply chain from Pit to Port. Participate in projects from studies to detailed design to execution. Ensure adherence to discipline design standards and engineering systems. Supervise discipline team members in a senior engineering role. Utilize related engineering software packages including Fluid Flow 3, Helix, Sidewinder, and JK Sim. What you'll need to succeed Minimum of 8 years' experience in the Mining and/or Resources Industry. Proficiency in minerals processing, pumping and piping, and materials handling conveyor systems. Experience across various stages of project development, from studies to execution. Strong knowledge of discipline design standards and engineering systems. Proficient in using related engineering software packages. Only candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.

Set and maintain project budgets and schedules to meet internal and external commitments. Engage and manage engineering service providers to ensure project objectives are met. Prepare, review, and issue tender documentation. Source, procure, and engage suppliers and specialized subcontractors. Create and maintain project documentation in the different phases to meet Kitimat and Atlantic operations requirements. Engage and manage area stakeholders to ensure alignment and the best solution is selected and implemented to meet the business requirements. Preparing presentations to investment committee and participating in investment meetings. Maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote teamwork, excellence, and team engagement.
