Reference: 6692414 About the role As a Mechanical Craftsman for the City of Coffs Harbour, you will work closely with the Mechanical team on the installation, upgrading, servicing, and maintenance of the equipment and machinery related to the Council's water and wastewater operations.
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong problem-solving abilities and investigative skills to effectively fault-find, assess issues, and report on findings to safely complete projects.
You will also assist in planning daily tasks to ensure the optimal use of equipment, materials, time, and resources.
A passion for contributing to a successful team and collaborating to achieve shared goals is essential.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an on-call rotating roster.
About you Significant mechanical experience or mechanical aptitude.Trade qualification Fitter / Machinist, or other relevant trade with maintenance fitting experience.Experience in general metal fabrication and welding to facilitate machinery repair.Class C Drivers Licence.National Construction Industry Induction (White Card).What's on offer?
