The Role
We have multiple opportunities for experienced Mechanical and Electrical Fitters who can support operations on a casual basis. If you're looking for flexible work opportunities in a dynamic environment, this role is for you.
Duties include: Perform routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair machinery to minimise downtime during production. Assist in the installation and modification of equipment and systems. Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability. Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to meet production goals. Adhere to all safety procedures and industry regulations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Skills & Experience Trade certification as a Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Fitter, or equivalent. Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including diagnostics and repair. Available to start immediately. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
