Mechanic

Calling all Melbourne's mechanics $38- 48ph- Laverton Your new company Our client is an Australian owned company located in Melbourne's west. They are a rental company for access equipment such as reach stackers, scissor lifts and trailer mounts. With a national presence and with things ramping up in Melbourne, they are in expansion mode and opportunities are flourishing. Your new role Hays Trades and Labour are eager to speak to all light vehicle and heavy vehicle mechanics who are keen to welcome new opportunities. Within this position you will be working either on site or in a workshop environment, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs. As well as maintaining a technical approach to customer based issues What you'll need to succeed You will have a strong work ethic, a positive and proactive attitude and show reliability and consistency at work. You will also have: Cert III in relevant automotive field or equivalent Current drivers' licence and reliable transport Own basic hand tools Comprehensive mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair skills Previous experience within a similar role Industry related references Great attitude with an eagerness to learn more Tickets desired but not essential are EWP, Test and Tag and forklift.
