About the roleYou are the engine that keeps our fleet's wheels turning for Hamilton Island's guests and staff, from golf buggies to light commercial vehicles.
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our respected workshop team on Hamilton Island.
This role will see the successful candidates working in our vehicle maintenance facility, servicing and repairing a diverse fleet of vehicles to the highest standards.
What you'll be doingAs a workshop Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our vehicles and equipment in the workshop.
Work with a close-knit and experienced teamMaintain a clean and safe work environment Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults on a wide range of vehicles and machineryPerforming scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work to optimise the operational performance and longevity of our fleetMaintaining detailed records of all work completed and spare parts usedAdhering to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment What we're looking for - You'll enjoy working in a team, have great problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and enjoy your time off on a tropic island!
