About the Role Due to the continued growth of the business, we are seeking a qualified Mechanic to join our team on an ongoing casual basis.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and compliance of our assets which includes but not limited to high pressure pumps, diesel engines and vehicles.
There is an opportunity to travel to our other facilities to conduct maintenance campaigns.
Duties will include but not limited to Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components and referring to service manuals as needed.
Perform basic care and maintenance Detecting and diagnosing faults Read and understand mechanical drawings Work within a team environment while capable of working unsupervised.
Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety including participating in safety documentation requirements.
Requirements & Experience Needed Fabrication experience (highly desirable) Ability to work in a fast placed environment Excellent Communication skills.
Thinking "outside the box" attitude Ability to work under pressure Strong problem-solving capabilities.
12 months experience working in preventative maintenance.
Oil & Gas industry experience (desirable) Construction Induction (White Card - essential) Possess formal Trade Qualification Current Drivers License (highly desirable).
