Cordius is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a company specialising in Land Rover Defender, Range Rover, Evoque, and Series vehicles. We are looking for mechanics who have experience working with older or newer Land Rover vehicles.
Job Title: Mechanic Salary Banding: £30-£40k+ – Negotiable for candidates with in-depth experience Hours: Monday – Friday – 08:00 – 17:00 Overtime: regularly available throughout the week and Saturdays (non-mandatory) Responsibilities: Collaborate with colleagues or customers to identify vehicle problems and determine necessary solutions. Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations. Order and replace parts and components as required. Maintain detailed records of each vehicle, including maintenance, inspection, or repair services performed. Budget for current and projected repair projects, calculating costs for parts and labor Ensure timely and effective project completion. Manage inventory and replenish supplies as necessary. Skills and Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Mechanics qualification (or time served experience) Preferably experience working with Land Rovers and Range Rovers Previous experience using diagnostics system, preferably Auto Logic Mechanical knowledge and technical proficiency Safety management awareness Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Strong time management skills Salary: £30-£40k+
The salary for this position will be discussed with the candidates and will be dependent on their experience.
