Mechanic

We are on the lookout for a mechanic to join our team at Xtreme Garden Care based in Knuckey's Lagoon, NT.
Qualifications & Experience:

Mechanical trades qualified
Car Licence a must
Truck licence a bonus
Machine operating experience a bonus
Be self-motivated with good communication skills having a strong desire to be part of a high performing team and brand

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Servicing and maintenance on Hino trucks
Servicing and maintenance on single and dual axle trailers
Servicing and maintenance on Vermeer wood chipper
Servicing and maintenance on Stump grinders
Servicing and maintenance on Avant machines
Servicing and maintenance on small engines
Delivery of materials to job sites
Odd day of machine operating
Maintains work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation

Note: Successful applicants will start as a casual employee for a trial period before signing as a full-time employee for the right applicant.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 45 – 50 per week
Schedule:

10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Day shift
Weekend availability

Experience:

Mechanic: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Driver Licence (Required)
MR Licence (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

Australia (Preferred)
