ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Hobart.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and you will be required to:
Perform and coordinate mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and servicing of heavy vehicles and static equipment.Ensure the fleet is maintained to and in compliance with Company Fleet Management Standards, with an emphasis on safety.Comply with the Company's Integrated Management System.Maintain contact with regional and national fleet management and interact with suppliers and contractors.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role, you will need to:
Have trade qualifications as a Truck Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles.Demonstrate an exceptional eye for detail.Complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing.Have a HR and forklift licence (preferred).Have a good mechanical aptitude.Demonstrate a professional and outcome focus.Work well individually and as part of a team.Want to be part of a culture of learning and continuous improvement.Be dedicated and reliable; we are an essential services industry.Demonstrate the ability to build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders.Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance and customer service.Light Vehicle Qualified or 3rd/4th year Heavy Vehicle Apprentice candidates encouraged to apply!BENEFITSWe appreciate there is more to life than work, we provide a variety of work options to ensure the job gets done; with competitive remuneration and a range of benefits, regardless of your role or location including:
