With our headquarters in Beenleigh, we expertly serve the entire region from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast and everywhere in between.The Role:We are on the lookout for a top-tier Mechanic who will excel in maintaining and repairing our outstanding fleet of water trucks and trailers. Your base will be our dynamic depot in Beenleigh, and you'll be an integral part of our energetic and skilled workshop team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise both in the workshop and out in the field, completing vital servicing and repairs. You will report directly to the Workshop Supervisor, allowing you to thrive in a cutting-edge workshop environment. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll work closely with clients and collaborate effectively with your team members. Join us and be a part of our mission to achieve exceptional results!Duties include but are not limited to:Overseeing and maintaining service and maintenance schedules for all plant and equipmentPerforming regular inspections and testing of plant and equipment, including engine tune-ups, oil and filter changes, replacement of worn parts, and tyre rotation and fitting.Fabricating plant and equipment as directed (competency based).Keeping comprehensive service and maintenance records through internal operational platform (Aroflo).Requirements of the job:General mechanical qualification – minimum Cert 3 or extensive experience as a Trades AssistantDiesel mechanic qualifications and/or experience are highly regarded but not essentialConstruction industry general safety card (can be obtained after start)Welding & experience, and working with small engines and pumps highly regardedForklift and HR licence are highly regarded but are not essentialExcellent working conditions include:Above award remunerationThe supply of toolsUniforms (including allowance for safety boots)Immediate start for the successful applicant.
